Whew, just returned from Europe a few days ago from a whirlwind trip.We usually like to rent
a place in an obscure town and get to know the locals. This time around we had so much fun staying with our friends in Houten, Holland, which is not far from Amsterdam. Then we went to Paris, then England. We met up with our older son, who was backpacking with his buddy around europe. Life is short and gotta do this stuff. My dream is to live in Italy half a year when our younger son is out of school. The idea will be to stay in one place and have family and friends come over when they can and we have many al fresco  meals. You know the scene, with a big long table outside with lots of food and wine on the table... We'll also travel around and see what we can. That is my dream...

Ok so here are some portraits of the week

 

HONEY, HONEY, HONEY...

Yes we had honey dripping down our walls  in our production room. Also dripping from the ceiling. Isn't that so weird, but we were a little nervous that we must have alot of bees. Time to get the bee guys out here. Well they came out and retrieved about 5 to 6 separate  hives and were able to save the bees. They took them to a farm and kept some hives themselves. By the way the honey was really so good as we each had a little taste. Unbelievable how nature works!
So hey its been awhile and whew its been crazy around here, with all the kidlets we've been photographing and well the bees.

They did have to spray some bee pheromones of which the smell is not that great. So if you come
down here you'll know thats what your smelling! lol!

Ok ok, I know its been awhile since I last posted. I am trying to manage my time a little better.
 Problem is we need 48 hours in a day. It seems everyone I know says the same thing. Time, too little of it!
Having time seems to be a luxury these days. But hey summer is almost here, and I will be taking time  to just hang
with the kids and do nothing. Will be taking a trip as well. Can't wait!
